This instruction is for only when you record video sources from the Tricaster as "Iso records" (Isolation) video Files; for Post Production later.

This software is only located on the Windows machine P910 to the left of the Tricaster.

IsoCorder Pro only operates when the Tricaster (Vision Switcher) is operational.

This is because IsoCorder has its "sources" derived through NDI.

Note
titleNDI - Network Device Interface

Network Device Interface is Ip based video that is derived from the Tricaster

The IsoCorder software is primarily used as recording designated Inputs in Isolation in addition to your Main Production Recording that is available on the Tricasters HDD..

The picture Left shows the first 4 sources as a Full Screen Window.

Note
titleFull Screen Window display only

You can not 'Size' the Window, only minimize it.

As you 'hover' the mouse cursor over each Source Input, the icon for the Record settings will appear in the style of a Gear icon. As shown.

Warning
titleHDD Space

Please always check the HDD destination as to the fact it has enough Free Space available to Record to.

Remember that the Bitrate is around 100MBits/sec.

This picture shows the overall display once the Gear icon is 'clicked'.

It can be considered to be in 2 halves

The top half shows which Record Source you need to record in isolation.

Also you can give it a particular name to identify later and lastly you can then choose the "Destination' Folder' to where the recording will be kept.

As the source inputs are incoming as NDI.  The source you require may not be named in a conventional sense.

Notewarning
titleNot sure of the naming conventions

Ask for assistance from a CPSU member

This area is where the Directory can be found for the Grab function, as described above.

The Bottom half then displays the associated Audio with the selected Record source.

Not all source inputs may have Audio.

Note
titleNo audio on Input

Ask for assistance from a CPSU member

The bottom right of the window shows the Display button.

This brings up the total amount of recordings that can be achieved.

As seen IsoCorder Pro can go as high as 16 record sources.

Warning
titleBeware of the data required for this

It is recommended to only use 2 stream records per Destination. i.e. 2 sources recording at any one time to Isilon.

Monitoring the inputs 1 through to 3

Audio monitoring can be achieved by selecting the appropriate Record channel.

This can be achieved through the small audio amplifier below the screen.
