How to upload your video to ECHO360 and create a Public Link (URL) |

We would like you to create your assessment in video format, then upload it to your personal library via ECHO360. Then create and submit a Public Link (URL) to the assessment submission point provided. Here is a summary of the steps, with detailed instructions available further down. Step A – Create your video. Convert it into an acceptable video format if necessary. Step B – Log into ECHO360 Step C – Upload the video to your ECHO360 personal library. Step D – From your ECHO360 personal library, retrieve a Public Link (URL) for your video. Step E – Submit the Public Link (URL) to Blackboard as directed. |

Acceptable video file formats for ECHO360: .3gp, .asf, .avi, .flv, .m4v, .mkv, .mov, .mp4, .mpg, .mpeg, .ogv, .webm, .wmv

STEP B: Log into ECHO360 |

Open https://echo360.org To login, enter your Curtin student ID email address e.g. 12345678@student.curtin.edu.au and click Submit Select ‘Curtin University’ from the Select Institution dropdown If requested, log into Oasis using your Curtin Credentials You have now reached your ECHO360 Home page.

Step C: Upload the video to your ECHO360 personal library. |
Important: Upload speeds are purely dependent on your internet upload speed. If you are uploading over a slower home internet connection the upload may take multiple hours. From the ECHO360 Home page, click on the blue Upload button Select Files to Upload by navigation to the storage location (or Drag and Drop, Copy and Paste Files).

After selecting your file, click on the blue Upload button. The file will upload and begin processing. Depending on the size of the file, this may take some time. To view your file, choose the All Content or My Content view from the ECHO360 Home page left hand menu. These views will display the individual files in your personal library

STEP E - Submit the Public Link (URL) to Blackboard as directed |

Refer to your unit outline and/or Blackboard for instructions on how to submit your Public Link (URL) for marking. You may be asked to copy the URL into an assessment cover sheet for submission OR you may be asked to paste the URL into the Comments text box of a Blackboard submission point.
