Theatre protocol

Safety is our highest priority. If you have queries or concerns about anything related to health and safety, contact theatre staff immediately.
Enclosed shoes must be worn at all times, except when required by rehearsal or performance. The shoe must "close toes, heels and the foot to the ankle." Thongs, sandals, Crocs, ballet flats etc are not acceptable. If you are not wearing appropriate shoes, you will be asked to leave the building. Examples of appropriate and inappropriate footwear are shown here.
Never walk through a rehearsal or performance.
Be aware of work going on around you, such as rehearsals and auditions, and keep unnecessary noise to a minimum.
Be mindful of other users and keep the spaces tidy. Put away all your set, costumes, props or other items immediately after each use. Put all your rubbish in the bin.
If you book a rehearsal space, ensure you only book the time you will use. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your use of the space may be denied.
The Hayman Theatre Office hours are 9:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Access to the props and costume stores is on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:00am to 12:00pm only.
