Patch each Microphone into the cameras 2 Inputs 

 

Hand held Mic - Audio CH-1 (EXT)

On board Mic (Directional) - Audio CH-2 (EXT)

Internal Mic - Audio Channel 3 (INT) (BU)

Internal Mic - Audio Channel 4 (INT) (BU)

 

 

 Routing of the Audio in the Camera

Hand held Mic - Audio CH-1 (EXT) 

On board Mic (Directional) - Audio CH-2 (EXT) 

(As this microphone requires voltage to operate, ensure that Mic +48v is selected)

Auto indicates Automatic Gain. Not used for Ch1 - I/V Mic

Internal Mic - Audio Channel 3 (INT) (BU) 

Internal Mic - Audio Channel 4 (INT) (BU)

MI SHOE - not used


INT or EXT

INT is for the INTernal mics, where EXT is for EXTernal mics - the 2 you plugged into the camera

The Camera menu settings has both Input and Output - for Audio

Within this part of the Menu, select 'CH2 EXT Input' as Input 2.

Audio Output of the Menu.


This display shows how the cameras monitoring headphones are being fed.

In this case as shown CH1 to the Left and CH2 to the Right headphones.

Monitoring Output to Headphones.


If you need to change the way monitoring is heard in the headphones, then select Monitor CH and

choose CH1 only, this will allow you to hear the Interview mic in both Left and Right part of the headphones.
