FD - Add Run Timecode to Preview Exports

ADD RUN TIMECODE

This section takes you through the process for adding Run Timecode (RTC), which is to be added on preview exports to enable media references in feedback from producers.

It is different from adding Time-of-Day Timecode, which is to simplify referencing media while editing.

At this stage you have finalised a draft that is ready to be sent off for preview by your Producers (Sally, Jemma and Scott).

First, activate the Sequence window with your finished draft

Hit ⌘Cmd + M (export)

or select File > Export > Media

Fill in and select the required sections and settings in the Export Window

Next, in the Export Window locate and click the Effects tab

In the Effects tab, scroll down to locate Timecode Overlay

Check the Timecode Overlay tick box.





Check the Generate Timecode button

Ensure Format is set to 25fps and that TC Start at 00:00:00:00

Run TC will now appear in the Output section of the Export Window

If all your export settings and labeling are correct, click Export
