Setting The Press With Runners

A continuation of the first “Setting the Press Video”, for using the press for printing woodblock and lino prints, aswell as any plates higher than etching or drypoint plates. The roller of the press needs to be set to the specific height of the plate you are using or you can damage the press, your plate and you will not have successful prints.

Cleaning up Ink and Tools

Mixing Ink

In this video we demonstrate the correct way for mixing inks. We instruct on what tools to use and the correct quantities of each medium. Be mindful when mixing inks to use a clean spatula for each different colour so as not to mix in the wrong colours into the tins.
