The Sequence panel is where your timeline is located.

Use the Playhead to scrub through the clips on your timeline.

Use the Marker button (M) to add a marker to the clip on which the Playhead is currently placed.

In the example, a green marker is placed directly above playhead.

Use I and O keys to set IN and OUT marks on the clip on which the Playhead is currently placed.

PLAY CONTROLS:

  1. Go to IN point (Shift + I)

  2. Step back 1 frame - Left (Left Arrow)

  3. Play (Space Bar)

  4. Step forward 1 frame - Right (Right Arrow)

  5. Go to OUT Point (Shift + O)

Additional Play Controls:

J - Rewind (press multiple times to increase speed)

K - Pause

L - Play Forwards (Press multiple times to increase speed)

Up Arrow - Jump to first frame of next edit point on clip

Down Arrow - Jump to first frame of previous edit point on clip

Shift + J or L - super slow-motion playback

Shift + Up or Down Arrow - jump to edit point on any track

Click the menu button next to the sequence name.


Select Start Time...

Set start time to 00:59:39:00 (you can type 593900 and hit enter).

Select 'Set as default for future sequences'

Click OK.

This sets the start time code of your sequence to 59 minutes and 39 seconds.
