Locate your Graphics Bin.Right - click and choose New Item > HD Bars and Tone.. | |||||||||
A Bars and Tone generator window will pop up.Ensure the Width and Height in the Video Settings match your project.Click OK. | |||||||||
This will generate a Bars & Tone clip in the Graphics Bin.Please note that any graphic file that is generated in PrP has a default IN and OUT set to 5 seconds (you can extend this longer, if required). | |||||||||
On the timeline hit the 'home' button on the keyboard to place the timeline cursor at the head (the start) of your timeline.Next, select the Bars & Tone clip in your bin and press the comma key (,) to Insert the clip into your timeline.OR | |||||||||
Select the Bars & Tone, Right-click and select 'Open in Source Monitor'.The Bars & Tone clip will open up in the Source Monitor | |||||||||
Press the Insert Button at the bottom of the Source window.OR | |||||||||
Click and drag the Bars & Tone clip from the Graphics panel and into the Program window.While dragging press and hold down the Command key.Cursor and arrows change to indicate Insert. | |||||||||
Drop to Insert the Bars & Tone clip into the Timeline. | |||||||||
Once the clip is on your timeline, you can check it's running length by right clicking on it and looking at the Speed/Duration section of the drop-down menu. | |||||||||
