All requests for equipment must be carried out using the EQUIPMENT BOOKING FORM, which must be lodged with the

MCCA

MCASI Store at least 24 hours prior to the required date, at which time your signed PROJECT APPROVAL FORM must be sighted to demonstrate that you have been allocated shooting days for the exercise or production. The Project Approval Form MUST be signed by your Tutor/Lecturer for the relevant unit (or in emergency situations, the Unit Coordinator) with the Support Specialist - Pre-Production signing-off on the Risk Assessment.


You will be denied access to equipment if requesting use on the same day as the production, and you are urged to book equipment as far in advance of the production day or days as possible.


At the time of booking equipment, if you are unable to collect the equipment yourself, you are required to let the MCASI Store, know the name of the person who will be collecting on your behalf. It is recommended that if you are unsure to add a second person just in case.

Obtaining location agreements or shooting permits may take some time, so please allow as much time as possible prior to the shooting date to submit your Project Approval Form to the Support Specialist - Pre-Production. In order for you to proceed with your booking, the Project Approval Form will need to be signed by the Support Specialist - Pre-Production to indicate that you have completed your Safety and Risk Assessment OR that you are in the process of completing your Safety and Risk Assessment by obtaining all the correct documentation. In this case, the Support Specialist - Pre-Production will sign ‘pending’.
