Editing and Post- Production

Students enrolled in SPRO2000

TV Studio Workshop

 Studio Production as part of a Screen Arts major or minor will use MAC base Adobe Premiere Pro for editing and post-production.

Media is data-wrangled into an appropriate folder structure on the MCASI

Isilon

Server using the SD card reader in each Adobe Premiere Pro editing suite, and subsequently imported into Premiere through the Project Browser Panel.

Each step in the process is detailed in the Adobe Premiere Pro Section.

  • Maximum two day consecutive booking or over weekend loan

  • Booking MUST be made at least 24hours before collection

  • Access to equipment is always at the Supervising Tutor’s discretion

  • Any group returning equipment later then the nominated ‘return time’, risks the action being deemed as an unauthorised extension.

Production Studio to practice and rehearse your production

Between Weeks 7 and 11, SPRO2000 students can book the

TV

Production Studio to practice and rehearse their final assessment productions as per the guidelines below.

Maximum Booking Duration

4 Hours

Maximum Booking Duration limits how long a booking can be made for. Calculated in physical hours.

Minimum Booking Duration

1 hour

Minimum Booking Duration is the minimum length of time a booking has to be made for.

Maximum Booking Notice

7 Days

A specified duration of time within which a booking can be made, this is to limit how far in the future a booking can be made.

Maximum Booking Allowance

1 booking every 12 hours

Maximum Booking Allowance per asset per user within number of hours. The system will check to see if the user has booked any of the assets in the group exceeding this Booking Allowance.
