Once you insert the SD card into the computer, you will need to navigate to the folder that holds your video files. The navigation process may differ based on the camera.

If you’re using MCASI cameras, you will come across one of three different types of storage system on the SD card:

CAMERAS THAT USE THIS SYSTEM:

  • Sony FX6

  • Sony FX30

  • Sony ZVE1

Go to PRIVATE > M4ROOT > CLIP

In this folder you will find your video files as well as corresponding .XML files.

CAMERAS THAT USE THIS SYSTEM:

  • Canon XF605

Go to CONTENTS > CLIPS00X (X being 1, 2, 3 … and may vary)

In this folder you will find your video files as well as corresponding .XML files.

CAMERAS THAT USE THIS SYSTEM:

  • GoPro Hero 8

Go to DCIM > 100GORPO

In this folder you will find your video files as well as corresponding .THM and .LRV files.
