LiveText; Graphics Generator within Tricaster.




Before launching into your Session profile by clicking on Live. 

Click on The Graphics Tab as shown to the left.

Where the arrow is pointing, It reads "New Livetext Project"

Create a title for your project by typing it within the field "Enter Project Name".





Once the title is typed and "Start Project" is clicked, the Livetext software will launch where you can now create your credits,





Creating Text at home. Your Graphics text can be created using a simple text software such as Windows Notepad. As long as it has the extension .txt, your Project will be 'read' by Livetext.

Save your text to your thumbdrive and then insert it into the USB Header near the Tricaster. As shown.

The picture shows "Add Files", by clicking on File at top left within the Menu. This then takes you to the File Directory. Ensure you navigate to the USB thumbdrive that is plugged into the USB Header near the Tricaster with your text.



Once you have navigated to your thumbdrive, go to where your saved text file is located.

File Type is selected

Make sure that the File Type field from the Pull down Menu is set to *.txt

Once the file is clicked to Select it. it's file name will appear in the field of the window shown left.

Then Click on 'OPEN'





Then, this Pop Up Window will appear, choose the way you want the text to be imported. For End rolling graphics, choose Center, as a guide.



Your text is now imported into the Graphics Generator for you to edit,

At the top left is the Arrow or cursor selector and along side that is the Text editor with the "T" icon.

The TABs along the bottom allow the way the text is displayed.

If you want to manipulate the whole text as one select the cursor icon and and then Ctrl + A using the keyboard.

If you need to change the Style look of all the text use Ctrl + A using the keyboard, then select the Style of Font within that TAB.

While in the mode of Text editing, if you left Click where the mouse cursor is, then press Enter, you are able to change the layout of where the text is on the screen.


The main area for Rolling credits is shown left. Select the UP arrow as shown, choose the Motion Speed by adjusting the Slider and then check the speed by pressing the Play icon at the right of this area, this allows a preview of the Rolling credits speed.





Once you are finished composing the Graphics, Click on File, then scroll down to "Export Current Page"

Resolution File

Ensure that the PAL HD 108025p 16:9 is selected, before exporting. This format will work best with your Session.






Directory address of Graphic

Take Note as the arrow points to where the Graphic composed will be 'Saved To'.

Then type your 'File name' you wish to call this particular Graphic.





The Graphic is then conformed for Playback using one of the DDR's.

The internal DDR labelled D1 or D2 has the ability to Key through this output. 

The other DDR sources are for playback only.






Take note, as this Window (shown to the left) indicates where your Graphic is now 'Saved to' for locating and adding to the DDR for playback.
