The role of the Directors Assistant or D.A for short along with the Director and Vision Switcher together help co-ordinate the overall switching of the Production .

The DA assists by ensuring all the necessary resources for the production are available within the 12 Bins, placed vertically for each of the TABS.

They are;  DDR1 and DDR2 along with the GFX1 and GFX2 TAB.

Then 'Select' each one as required for the Director, who then advises the Vision Switcher to switch the appropriate one to LINE or Program using the TC-1 switcher.

This allows the recording of the Program to be performed along with the Audio Operator using the Yamaha Audio Mixer to bring about the overall output for the recording.
