In the Effects tab you will also find Audio Transitions. There are three options:Constant Gain – changes the audio levels at a constant rate. This does not sound very normal and is rarely used.Constant Power – use this when doing a crossfade between two clips.Exponential Fade – Use this when coming up from silence or fading down to silence. | |||||||||||
You can perform a Default Transition directly from the timeline by selecting between the edit point of two pieces of audio (or at the end/beginning of an audio track), right click and select 'Apply Default Transition' from the pop-up.
