| After you have finished editing your audio file, go to the Garageband main window. |
| Locate the audio file you wish to copy to iMovie (or transmit to Dropbox). |
| From the pop-up menu, tap 'Open in...'. |
| Select 'Song' to generate an audio file that you can copy to iMovie or save to Dropbox.

| To copy to iMovie, tap 'Copy to iMovie'.

| The Audio file opens in iMovie.To insert the track into a new iMovie project, tap 'Create New Movie'.To insert the track into an iMovie work-in-progress, from the 'Last Edited' list, tap the iMovie project you want the track to be opened in. |
| The audio file is inserted as an audio track in the selected iMovie project timeline.To manually open an imported track in iMovie, see here. |
| To copy the audio file to Dropbox, in the Share pop-up menu, tap 'Copy to Dropbox'.
