This is a general show checklist for sound. Shows may have specific requirements that need to be added to this list.
Your checklist should take the form of a table with a separate column for each show. You should tick off each task as you complete it.
Pre-show
- Turn on the equipment, following correct power-up procedure.
- Set all faders to the correct levels.
- Check all stage speakers are functioning.
- Play through several sound cues to check operation.
- Check show relay to bio box and dressing rooms.
- Begin house music just prior to doors opening.
Post-show
- Fully shut down the sound laptop.
- Turn off the equipment, following correct power-down procedure.
