HOW TO SUBMIT A VIDEO FOR ASSESSMENT USING ECHO360 FILE SHARING
Here you will find step-by-step instructions on how to upload your video to ECHO360 and share it via a Public Link (URL).
Echo360 is a Curtin supported platform for storing and sharing videos. You have a student account to upload, store and share your own video recordings as well as access Curtin’s iLecture recordings.
Please schedule yourself some time to read through the instructions contained within this folder.
Dependent on your internet speed, you may also need to allow time for the upload of your video.
How to upload your video to ECHO360 and create a Public Link (URL) |

We would like you to create your assessment in video format, then upload it to your personal library via ECHO360. Then create and submit a Public Link (URL) to the assessment submission point provided. Here is a summary of the steps, with detailed instructions available further down. Step A – Create your video. Convert it into an acceptable video format if necessary. Step B – Log into ECHO360 Step C – Upload the video to your ECHO360 personal library. Step D – From your ECHO360 personal library, retrieve a Public Link (URL) for your video. Step E – Submit the Public Link (URL) to Blackboard as directed. |

STEP B: Log into ECHO360 |

TIP! Click on “Select Files to Upload” text to access your device drive. Choose the file and select Open. TIP! If you are uploading from a cloud storage option, you may be required to log in. |

Step D: From your ECHO360 personal library, retrieve a Public Link (URL) for your video. |

TIP! Your Public Link (URL) should end with “…/public”. If your URL does not end like this, it will not work. Return to the start of STEP D and follow the instructions again. |
