Booking Edit Suites
SPRO1000: students can book the ground floor editing suites. In fairness to all students using the edit suites, there is a 4 hour limit per session, Monday to Sunday from 09:00 to 21:00.
2nd and 3rd Year Students: students can book the 2nd-floor editing suites. In fairness to all students using the edit suites, there is a 4 hour limit per session, Monday to Sunday from 09:00 to 21:00.

 | 1. Log into siso.curtin.edu.au You can also download the Smarthub App for your mobile device (screenshots may vary). |
 | Select Book from the Dashboard.
|
 | You will be presented with further options in regard to what you are booking and when. In the case of edit suites, you only need to select Calendar.
|
  | Edit Suites are grouped according to year group and what is allocated to your enrolled units. Choose a suite by selecting Edit Suites and then Book. Please Note Booking Restrictions and select Continue.
 |
 | Choose start and finish times on the calendar. Select Next.
|
 | If an Edit Suite is available then it will prompt you to Book.
|
 | The Edit Suites do NOT require a risk assessment so select Confirm.
|
 | Your booking is confirmed once you have booked an available date and time.
|
 | You will receive email confirmation of your booking.

Parameters for Booking an Edit Suite Online |
Category | Unit | Description |
Min Booking Duration | 30 Minutes | This is the minimum time allowed for any booking |
Max Booking Duration | 4 Hours | This is the maximum time allowed for any booking |
Min Booking Notice | 1 Day | Any booking MUST be made at least 10 hours prior |
Max Booking Notice | 7 Days | Bookings cannot be made more than 8 days prior |
Max Booking Allowance | 1 Booking per 24 hours | Only 1 booking can be made per 24 hours |
Max Cancellation | 1 Day | Any booking cancellations must be done 1 day in advance |
Post-Production Bookings for Non-Assessable ProjectsAs with equipment and studio facilities, post-production suites may be used for non-assessable projects undertaken by students in order to extend their skills and experience, and in certain circumstances, for commercial projects.All requests to use the facilities for non-assessable student projects or commercial projects must be approved by a supervising academic. Normally, editing and post-production will be undertaken as part of a project that has already been approved, and that project approval will cover post-production.Normally, students wishing to book post-production facilities for a non-commercial project may do so provided that they meet certain conditions. As with any equipment or facility, student groups or others wishing to use our post-production suites must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the operation of the relevant system.
