1.1.F - Equipment Booking During Scheduled Class Time

Students registered in a particular workshop are able to access equipment during that class time with their Tutor/Lecturer’s permission without completing an equipment booking form. They are, however, expected to adhere to the standard protocols in relation to the care of that equipment, its secure return to the MCASI Store, and the reporting of faults or operational difficulty.  All equipment MUST be returned at the end of the scheduled class.

It must be noted that during heavy production times in the semester, when there are many groups booking equipment for assessment exercises, it may not always be possible to access the equipment.

The purpose of this protocol is to provide students with the opportunity to practice using equipment and developing their skills and expertise in preparation for their production exercises.
