 Below is the process for exporting an OMF file (with accompanying low-res QT of finished film) to move your project from Premiere Pro to Pro Tools for audio editing.

Right click on your most current sequence and select duplicate from the contextual menu.

 

Label the sequence with something like Final or PLO (Picture Lock Off), where it's going to (ie. ToPT = To Pro Tools, CC = Colour Correction, AE = After Effects, and so on), and the version sent.

With the sequence selected

File > Export > OMF...

Ensure the settings are as follows

If you have not set up your folder structure do so now:

UnitFolder / ProTools / BU

Save the OMF file in the 'To' folder

 

Once the export process is complete, a text file will be generated with information about the OMF export.

Once you click 'OK' it will save the .txt file to the same folder the OMF is going to.

With the sequence selected

File > Export > Media...

Select settings that will generate a low-res movie file.

Save the movie file in the 'To' folder
