The Three Elements of Foley

	Foley can be divided into three main parts:Moves and Pats - sounds of clothes as actor moves (and sounds of physical touches)Feet - sounds of walking Specifics - sounds of anything an actor touches or effects Each element is added in stages to a multi-track recorder system and synchronized with the picture. When played back together, the result is a natural sounding scene.
