This section provides an introduction to the art of Foley creation and recording. Foley is a kind of noise that requires precision, but that is intended to blend in to the background. This kind of audio creation is named after Jack Foley, who first came up with a process for adding quotidian noises, such as footsteps, to films in the 1920s.
