Sony FX30 - Resolution and Codec

The recommended resoluction for the Sony FX30 is XAVC S-I HD 25p. Please follow the below steps to verify your camera is setup correctly. If you intend to shoot in slow-motion, please head here.

Press the MENU button and navigate to the Shooting (red camera) icon.

Select 1 Image Quality/Rec

Select 1 Image Quality/Rec

Verify that your File Format is XAVC S-I HD

 

Scroll down to Movie Settings and ensure that your Rec Frame Rate is set to 25p
