Professional Cameras Available for Students (Undergraduate)



Information Required for Usage of Professional Camera Equipment held in MCASI Store

For undergraduates’ courses, camera selection is pre-allocated to the various units and is approved through the Project Approval process with their supervising tutor.

Undergraduates wanting to access a camera outside of their unit allocation MUST seek approval from their supervising academic and are to discuss details during the Project Approval process such as;

  • The reasoning for selecting the camera chosen for the project, including both creative and technical aspects

  • Shooting environment (interior, exterior, etc.)

  • Any other relevant details

Projects requiring Head of School Approval

Requests for equipment project usage to be approved by the School Business Manager (delegated from Head of School):

  1. Any overseas/international usage by staff or students

  2. Any requests by Curtin staff from other Schools (not MCASI)

  3. Any requests for usage at Curtin events

  4. Any other requests for usage not mentioned above

In the first instance, all requests must be directed through the Manager, Creative Production Support Unit.
