Mackie MCU Pro | |
The Mackie MCU Pro gives you a physical way of controlling Audition. Channels get a fader, and you can start/stop recording. It can be significantly quicker than clicking buttons on a computer.
You will need to setup the control surface in your Audition project if it doesn't load the first time. Under the Adobe Audition CC menu is Preferences, click that.
Pick Control Surface from the options. Hit the Add button.
Pick Mackie from the avaible options. Then pick Settings once Mackie is displayed. This is just to select the control surface protocol we want to use. We then need to add an actual surface that uses that protocol.
Click Add, to add an actual surface.
Use the settings shown on the side here. You can get back to Audition by hitting Ok...Ok...Etc. If its working, then the surface will show timecode and channel names on its display. Changes in Audition will reflect on the Mackie, and vice versa.
As always, if you have any problems, please come and grab one of the support staff and we can assist.
