Sound: Why is this really loud/quiet?
Sound: Why is this really loud/quiet?
Problem
Sound is playing, but it is much louder or quieter than it was before.
Solution
- Check that the amps are turned to 100%.
- Check that the left and right faders (labelled L and R) and your input fader are at the correct level.
- Check that the output level on the laptop or MP3 player is correct.
- If the level in the theatre is normal, but it is loud/quiet in the bio box or dressing room, check that the show relay amps are at 100%, and the faders (labelled "bio" and "dress") are at the correct levels.
