Camera Line Up
The objective of this line up is to colour balance the 3x Studio cameras to ensure that each camera is colour balanced with the Studio Lighting on the set.
The difference with these Studio cameras is that they need a White and Black balance.
Wheel out the 3 cameras and 'park' them along side each other. See picture. This avoids any parallax error when zooming in on the Line Up chart. Zoom each camera in until the arrows on the chart are at the edge of the Viewfinder display
The Line Up Chart has a series of Black to White strips that the cameras need to shoot, so that each camera can have it's colour imagery adjusted to give a technically correct picture out. A colour balance! The cameras are setup by Zooming and Focusing on this static chart, so the arrows on the edge of the chart are at the edge of the Viewfinder, when the picture is framed. The picture to the left shows 2 of these arrows pointed out with white ones.
The three CCU's for each of the cameras are located within the Control room at the Technical Directors position
