Session Config and Source Set Up

The Tricaster or TC1 is currently permanently setup to have it's 4 physical hardware inputs to take the Studio cameras, all being of HD-SDI format. All other sources to the mixer are in a proprietary format called NDI (Network Device Interface). Using what is known as an Ip interface to connect further sources.

Each Session or Project can be modified to suit the users need.

Currently each Session must be setup in the HD format which is 1920 x 1080 50p.

The Control Room has 1 x  Apple Mac PC's and 3 x Windows 10 PC's.

Each of these have different roles but with the proprietary software by Newtek, each PC can 'Send' a video source to the TC1.

To do this an application called 'NDI Scan Converter'  can be launched on each PC which then allows an output of that PC to appear as an Input to the TC1.

To launch NDI Scan, simply type in Scan in the 'Search' function of each Windows PC until you see the application, Launch it and then it's icon will be placed in the Taskbar of the PC at lower right of screen.

This will now output the desired video stream as to what you want to display through the TC1.
