It is important that students understand from a practical perspective that content created for this project may appear on the Yagan Square Digital Tower; where images are displayed on the tower, the general public may take photos and share on their social media platforms. Hence student are required to use this specific Yagan Square Digital Tower Release Form.

SPRO2004 - Yagan Square Digital Tower - Release Form

This form is both a RELEASE FORM and a COPYRIGHT LICENCE FORM.

  • It is for anyone who appears in your project, irrespective of whether they are acting, appear in photograph, video, film, painting and drawing, they MUST sign this form

  • It also functions as a COPYRIGHT LICENCE FORM and is for material that appears in your project and is owned by an artist/third party such as music performed, recorded, written, photographs, audio, video, film, paintings and drawings, in this case the artist(s) MUST sign this form.

  • This also includes the author(s)/creator(s) of the project (including yourself), who MUST sign this form as both a Release Form and Copyright Licence form.

Duration: 1 to 10 minutes, rounded to whole minutes, including titles for 15-seconds or longer. 

Notes:

  1. Very slow moving.

  2. Contain transitions (crossfades only) between each edit - 2 second minimum - NO HARD CUTS.

  3. Roadside facing content must not be distracting for traffic.

  4. No solid traffic light colours – Red/Green/Orange and no blocks of Red/Orange/Green in the lower third of the tower.

  5. Roadside content must not resemble traffic signals, traffic signs or warning signals.

  6. Layout of the screen to be taken into consideration eg. true centre of screen.

  7. Content should not rotate around the screen faster than 200pixels per minute.
