Guide to Transferring Media from Android via a PC

  1. Insert SD card into laptop, (either directly or using a card reader if necessary), OR insert an SSD, USB, or Hard Drive into the connection point on the laptop.

  1. Connect your Android phone to your PC using USB cable.

  1. Your device may ask what kind of connection to open. Select ‘Transfer Files (MTP)’ or similar.

  1. Open Windows File Explorer on your laptop.

  2. Click your phone from the list on the left.

  3. Browse and select files to transfer.

  4. Right-click > Copy.

  5. Navigate to the SD Card, SSD, USB or hard drive and Right-click > Paste.
