Transfer from iPhone to on-campus MAC

  1. Connect phone to MAC using appropriate cable.

Turn your phone on and unlock it (the PC can’t find the device if it’s locked).

  1. Once plugged in the phone may have a pop-up that prompts you to allow access to the computer.

  1. Type ‘Photos’ into the search box on the taskbar - open the Photos app.

  1. Your phone should automatically connect and show under Devices, otherwise select ‘Import’ from the top bar in the photos app and navigate through to your phone.

The content may take a while to load (particularly if you have a lot of media on your phone). Be patient

  1. Click and select all the media you would like to import.

  1. Click 'Import X Selected

 

  1. Select all the imported footage and drag them into a temporary folder on the desktop.

  2. Copy and paste the files from that folder into the MCASI Server assignment folder.
