Guide to Transferring Media from iPhone via a PC
Insert SD card into laptop, (either directly or using a card reader if necessary), OR insert an SSD, USB, or Hard Drive into the connection point on the laptop.
Connect your iPhone to your PC using USB cable.
Turn your phone on and unlock it (the PC can’t find the device if it’s locked).
Open the photos app, via the Start button.
Select ‘Import’ > ‘From a USB device’, then follow the instructions.
Select the media you want to import and choose the SD Card, SSD, USB or Hard Drive as the location to save them.
Allow time for detection and then transfer.
