3.11 - APRA AMCOS Blanket Agreement

The School of Media, Creative Arts and Social Inquiry has negotiated a special license on your behalf that permits you to use production music in student productions.

Important terms for you to abide by:

• Production Music may be used in your showreels and short film festivals and for uploading to online platforms, including but not limited to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc.

• The license permits using music from the production music register of Beatbox Music ONLY.

• Commercially available and independent music NOT in the production music register of Beatbox Music REQUIRES separate copyright licensing with APRA; for assistance with this you can speak to the MCASI Production Office.

• You must report ALL production music you use on each Production ID Slate; this IS If you have any questions and/or doubts, please do not hesitate to contact the MCASI Production Office in advance.

Please note: you will still require other clearances to use your work (e.g. talent consent forms, etc.) – the license only gives copyright clearance to use production music.
