Welcome to the Hayman Theatre at Curtin University!

The Hayman Theatre is an invaluable resource as part of your Theatre Arts education, and in providing a foundation for your future as a theatre maker.

The information provided in this handbook will assist you in using the Hayman Theatre in a way that maximizes the resources, and allows fair and appropriate use of the space by all students. It replicates professional theatre protocols. 

Requirements of personnel working in the Hayman Theatre:

• Must be a current Theatre Arts student or staff member
• Must have completed the White Card and both Online Manual Handling training as specified in the Unit Outlines for Performance Studies units
• Must have participated in the creation of a Risk Assessment for the activity being carried out, and sign it to indicate their participation
• Must read, understand and abide by all the directives and procedures in this handbook.
