9. Playing cues

Once you have completed plotting, you can play back your cues. Follow these steps.

1. Assign the cue list to a fader on the console. Go into the console view.

 All available cue lists will be displayed in a box on the top right of the screen. Select your cue list and drag it over to the virtual console, and drop it into the window above the preferred fader. On the virtual console, the name will appear in the LCD window, and on the physical console, the LED of the play button will illuminate. You will only need to do this once - the cue list will stay assigned to that fader as part of your saved show file.

2. On the physical console, push the fader all the way up. If the fader is not all the way up, the output levels with be lower than they should be.

3. On the physical console, press the play button. Your cues will play back as programmed. 

4. To see your list of cues and track what cue you are in, go into the playback view. 

Even if you only have one cue list, you will need to select the list to display by clicking on it in the screen-left pane.

In the above example, we are currently outputting Cue 3. Previous cues are shown in black, with a progress bar at 100%. The current cue is show in blue, with the progress bar at 100%. The next cue is shown in green, with the progress bar at 0%. Any subsequent cues are shown in white, with the progress bar at 0%. . 

The current cue is also displayed in the cue list pane on screen-left, and in the expanded view on screen-right. 

5. You can also navigate between cues by clicking the play or skip icon for each cue in the cue list. This is a useful way to move around during tech rehearsals and editing, but should not be done during dress rehearsals or performances, due to the risk involved in mis-clicks.

6. When you have finished playing back cues, click Release. This stops the cue list from outputting. It does not delete any information.
