PrP - Workspace - Program Monitor Explained



The Program Monitor is the play-out panel connected to your Timeline. What you play or scrub through in the timeline will be displayed here (and vice versa).

Use the Playhead (blue icon) to scrub through the clips on your Timeline.

Use the Marker button to add a marker (green icon) to the sequence in which the Playhead is currently placed.

Marker button is located in the tool panel at the bottom of the Program Panel (see image below - far left button).

Use IN and OUT buttons to set IN and OUT marks on the clip on which the Playhead is currently placed (or I and O on your keyboard).

PLAY CONTROLS:

Shift + I - Go to IN point

Shift + O - Go to OUT Point

Left Arrow - Step back 1 frame (to the left)

Right Arrow - Move forward 1 frame (to the left)

Space Bar - Play

ADDITIONAL PLAY CONTROLS:

J - Rewind (press multiple times to increase speed)

K - Pause

L - Play Forwards (Press multiple times to increase speed)

Up Arrow - Jump to first frame of next edit point on clip

Down Arrow - Jump to first frame of previous edit point on clip

Shift + J or L - super slow-motion playback

Shift + Up or Down Arrow - jump to edit point on any track
